FOR WINDOWS USERS:

1. Get permission to access VPN from your professor, and then submit a Help Request to GBC Assist to gain access to Labstats
2. Download and Log on to AnyConnect VPN. Follow this link for instructions: Connect to GBC Network
3. Select a computer from the library where the software is located (CL or SJ)
4. Download the required .rdp file to your computer, once downloaded double click on RDF file to open Remote Desktop application
5. Log in with GBCStudentNumber and your GBC Password when signing on to LLC computers
6. When finished using the computer, do not us the “x” to leave but select Start Menu, Power and then click on Disconnect.

How To Download Remote Desktop Connection

FOR MAC USERS:

1. Get permission to access VPN from your professor, and then submit a Help Request to GBC Assist to gain access to Labstats.
2. Download and logon to AnyConnect VPN. Follow this link for instructions: Connect to GBC Network
3. Then, Continue; the AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Download page displays
4. Use Run to install the VPN client; a welcome message displays in the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Setup; hit Next
5. Download and install the Microsoft Remote Desktop application.
6. Select a computer from library where the software is located (CL or SJ): https://remoteaccess.labstats.com/george-brown-college-llc
7. Download the required .rdp file to your computer
8. Open Microsoft remote access and click on the gear
9. Select “import from RDP file..”
10. Click on Saved PCs and log in with GBCStudentNumber and your GBC Password when signing on to LLC computers
11. When finished using the computer, do not us the “x” to leave but select Start Menu, Power and then click on Disconnect
